Isaac Boots twelve year old son of John Boots of Vinola colored met a fatal accident on a Welsh mountain line Monday evening near Kinzer. While watching a passing freight train he was knocked off his feet by the blast and his right leg crushed between knee and ankle. He was treated at the station by Dr Leaman then taken to St Joseph hospital Lancaster where the leg was amputated below the knee.
