The New Holland Machine Company plans a 100 horsepower boiler and a 65 horsepower engine. To install the new power, about 75 percent of workers are laid off until completion. They expect the engine and boiler to be in service next week and full production to resume thereafter. Clayton Nolt currently operates some machinery with his traction engine. The plant, in use since 1908, remains in good condition despite the expanded machinery requiring greater motive power.

Miss Elizabeth Buohl of 19 East Green Street Lancaster dies June 18 from a hemorrhage. Born August 3 1866 she was 45 years 10 months and 15 days old. Rev G Imther Weibel officiated the funeral. Sarah C wife of H H Fohl dies at Sandersburg after a lingering illness. H H Fohl resigned as tax collector last spring due to ill health. He was popular winning a rare cross party vote for tax collector. Survived by wife nee Margaret Troop two sons and two daughters Mrs Harvey Schweitzer Mrs F S Klinger Harry and Wayne plus fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday at 9:30 from the home with services at Allegheny Church and burial in adjoining cemetery.
