A dispute arose between I. N. Diller of Seaman Place and W. R. Knox of Intercourse over the recent election for delegate to the Democratic National Convention. The official vote was challenged with Knox winning by a narrow margin as the court considers the ballot site and tally.
A Terre Hill man Dr John M Wenger and his fiancée wed while on an auto ride last Thursday. They stopped at the home of his brother in law Rev W H Harizler in Myerstown Lebanon County and were married in the minister’s presence in the garden.
Mr and Mrs LB FP Stanffer hosted guests at Locust Grove Farm east of Blue Ball for a dinner honoring Mr and Mrs Barton Stanffer and Mr and Mrs Amos Good who were newlyweds. Photographs were taken by Mr Good as entertainment. Guests included residents from Terre Hill New Holland Beartown Maple Lawn Farm Goodville Morgantown and Blue Ball.

Next Sunday afternoon the corner stone of the Rheam Memorial Lutheran Church of Denver will be laid with services. Rev S M Mountz will preach the sermon. The church, one of the largest in the county, will be funded entirely by a congregation member.
A two year old child, son of Al, died after an incident on a track. Authorities have not released further details.
Secretary W E Davis announces a strong baseball schedule for New Holland with games against Keystones of York Adamstown Hanover Lititz Penn Wheelmen Reading Athletics and Elizabeth town. Local players Henderson Stork Hershey assist. Beaver and Brown to pitch. Brown and Gates remain as local battery amid interest from faster clubs.
Lititz hosts a 4th of July pageant featuring a Knights of the Golden Eagle street parody at 1 30 p m. Castles from Lancaster and nearby counties compete for 100 in prizes in a 25 man drill. A 6 p m military display, band concerts, and prize awards follow including best drilled commandery and largest parade turnout.
A pair of two horse teams ran loose after tying straps failed near the station. They collided with Moses Weaver's wagon on Roberts avenue causing him to be thrown. both Ludwig horses were uninjured and Weaver escaped harm. Earlier, a broken perch split a trotting buggy on the old Hinkletown track, sending Gehr and Roop tumbling as the wagon wrecked and the horse suffered leg injuries.
