Twelve year old girl dies from brain tumor in New Holland
Louise Martin daughter of Clarence W and Bessie M Martin of Union Avenue died at home Monday night at 11 30 from a brain hemorrhage caused by a tumor. She attended Trinity Lutheran Sunday School and New Holland Public Schools. Survived by her parents and a brother James R Martin. Funeral at 9 06 this Friday at home, Trinity Lutheran Cemetery burial.

Civil War Veteran George F Dicely Dies at 85 in Neffsville
George F. Dicely eighty five died at 1 45 pm Friday at his daughter's home in Neffsville after a year long illness. He served in Captain James Thompson's Company C Light Artillery Pennsylvania Volunteers and fought in notable conflicts. He lived near Beartown and Honey Brook. widow Martha Whitman is 82. The couple married 64 years and he leaves three sons Lee and Morris of Richmond California and Harry of Lancaster, fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral from his son in law James G Stauffer Neffsville at 1 pm Monday and 2 pm at Bridgeville Congregational Church with interment in the local cemetery.

Second Annual Boys Band of New Holland Festival Scheduled
All arrangements are complete for the Second Annual Festival by the Boys Band of New Holland at Storb Field on Saturday evening June 21.
