Civil War Veteran Jacob W Davidson Dies at 88
Jacob W Davidson a Civil War veteran died of cerebral hemorrhage Sunday at his Brownstown home after a week long illness. He lived in Brownstown six years and belonged to the Evangelical church. Survived by his wife an adopted son Charles of Voganville and brother Cyrus of Ephratia. Funeral Wednesday at his home then Union church Voganville with interment in nearby cemetery.

One Hundred Scholars Enroll in Daily Vacation Bible School

Miss Hoover has since accepted, a position in the Census Department of the U. S. Government, at Washington, D C., where she will remain until fall, after which time she will as sume her duties as a teacher at Good's School, near Bareville.
