Arrow Extends Winter Route Through Icy Bay
The Arrow forced through bay ice to open water at the Koos ka naac creek mouth and headed for the head of the lake. Ice at the upper end is about three inches thick. freight from Revelstoke totals over 40 tons on the beach. Goods must be hauled three miles across ice to Bannock Point where the boat only reaches. The Arrow conducts regular trips with good prospects for a profitable winter's traffic despite distant landings.
