A Wednesday 4 p.m. fire on the E. I. Clausen ranch near Pleasant Point, rented by Henry Detiefsen, destroyed both dairy and horse barns and about 45 tons of hay. Sparks from nearby slashings or spontaneous combustion are considered causes. barns and hay were partly insured.
