Pioneer Woman Susie Katherine Weekly Dies at Home
Susie Katherine Weekly, 53, died Sunday morning September 10, 1939, at her Myrtle Point home after a brief illness. She was born April 11, 1886, in Myrtle Point and lived there most of her life, later moving to a ranch on the north fork and then back to Myrtle Point after her husband Isaac Weekly died twelve years ago. She was a homemaker and longtime Church of the Brethren member. She leaves six children Oliver, Harold, Ervin Warren, Myrle Stibitz of Myrtle Point, and Eisie Fasola of Sequim, Washington. Funeral services were held at the Schroeder-Friezel Home Wednesday afternoon, with Rev F HL rr officiating. Interment was in Dora cemetery.
