Open Season for Deer in Oregon Ends October 17
Oregon wildlife rules outline a limited open season for black tailed, mule and male deer in Douglas County. The bag limit remains one deer with forked antlers, with a three day post season period October 18 to 20 for three hunters failing to bag a buck. Hunters may shoot buck or doe during these days, but the text notes uncertainties about forked-antler requirements for bucks and warns against risky stances on buck selection.
