Famous 91st Division to Hold 38th Reunion in Seattle

Coos County 4-Hers Win Herdsmanship Cup at State Fair
Coos county 4 H ers won the Herdsmanship trophy for the third time at the State Fair with a score of 396. A 12 animal team led by Woodrow Robison of Arago traveled the Myrtle Point group included Joanne Davenport and others. Sponsors included Rudy s Texaco Service Barklow Realty and Arago Cheese Company. Man Killed Directing Traffic After Four-Car Crash on Highway 42
William Morrison Hall, 26, of Myrtle Point, directing traffic after a four-car collision on Highway 42 near Hoffman Wayside, was killed when a car driven by Frederick Tams struck him. Byron Nordstrom and Claude Finley were also involved. Hall died at Mast hospital. Survived by wife Marjorie, three children, and his Virginia-born father William Hall.
