Two Men Arrested Over Theft At SERA Camp In Fairview
County arrests Jun Jeordon Brown 28 and James FE Stevens 25 after a theft at the SERA transient camp in Fairview. Brown is charged with drunk in public and serving 60 days with 10 parole. Stevens accused of petit larceny and also serving 60 days with parole. They allegedly stole camp clothes and tried to sell them to a Coquille second hand store.

Two Plead Guilty In Home Robbery Case

Two Bears Killed At Eckley Monday
Bill Eads on his way to Myrtle Point from Eckley ranch killed an 800 pound bear he claimed to have shot on the street. The next day Mr and Mrs Millard Carlile of Gaylord saw a 500 pound bear in the Hermann orchard hidden in a tree above pear picking and fled when the leaves rustled.

Burglar Steals $100 From Local Grocery Safe
