Three people were hospitalized after a Saturday afternoon crash on Highway 42 near Myrtle Point. Louise Carver, Vincent Smith, and Robert Smith were treated for shock and facial injuries. none are seriously hurt. A pickup driven by Mr Smno swerved to avoid the Carver car, causing the collision. state police controlled traffic until the scene cleared.
