Boys Town Choir to Perform in Coquille Event
The Father Flanagan’s Boys Town Choir will perform at the Coquille Community Building on a September 38 program starting at 8 p.m. Sponsorship comes from the Coquille Valley Junior Women and the Coos Bay Junior Women. The choir is praised as typical American boys active in sports, debate, band, scout activities and community life at Boys Town.

The Coos County drive lists volunteers and agencies receiving support from Coos Samy UGN contributions. Bank debits across 10 reporting banks rose to 57.66 million in July 1971 from 54.06 million in June 1971 and 51.81 million a year earlier. Nationwide, Oregon’s 373 banks saw a 0.4 percent dip month to month and a 14.6 percent rise year over year with July 1971 totals at 6.713 billion.
