Myrtle Point Bobcats coached by Don Fisher open the 1971 season Friday night at home versus the Siuslaw Vikings at 8 p.m. The inexperienced squad returns six seniors from a 6-3 last year, led by all-Sunset lineman Jim Mast and veterans including Horner, Richardson, Tomlinson and Walker.
