Reform School Boy Perpetrates Two Burglaries
Ray Oswaldt an 18 year old who recently left the Oregon reform school is condemned to 14 months in the state penitentiary by Judge Carl Wimberly after a spree of burglaries. He broke into homes in Roseburg Myrtle Point Coquille Marshfield and Vancouver taking jewelry and other articles before authorities connected him to the Bushnell and Wilter robberies.

Coos Pioneer Lillie Celebrates 91st Birthday at Bandon Dinner
Mrs Lillie a Coos county pioneer celebrated her 91st birthday with a large Sunday dinner at her Bandon home. Born 1848 in Dollar County Missouri to Finley Snead, she married David Doyle in 1864 and later Al Lillie in 1879. She has 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Attendees from Camas Valley Marshfield Powers Arago and Coquille joined family friends for roast turkey and gifts.
