William J McLyman Jr. of Coos County died after a gun he and another boy were cleaning discharged on Sunday October 1836. He was 64 years old, born February 16, 1972, at Powers. Sunday Collision Involves MP Girl
A car driven by Eleanor Edwards of Myrtle Point collided with a Washington car about one mile from Myrtle Point on the Myrtle Point Coquille highway. The Edwards party included Kathryn Sumerlin Frank Furman Vance Freeman and Edith Redell. None were seriously hurt but Edith Redell suffered a black eye.
