Thursday morning session of the county grand jury was interrupted when prosecutors and sheriff officers rushed to the bay after finding an unidentified man dying near the North Bend Marshfield highway. Frank Carr alias Edwards admitted a quarrel over money. Edwards on parole from San Quentin claimed self defense.
