Oregon Liquor Revenues Hit Record For Local Distributions
The Oregon Liquor Control Commission reports 15 248 032 80 in liquor beer and wine revenues for the year ended June 30 the largest annual allocation in OLCC history. The state general fund received 13 083 445 20 with 1 227 855 15 to cities and 925 982 20 to counties plus 10 750 25 to the state census fund. Coos County and its cities shared 65 759 44 from liquor revenue. Local allocations come from 60 percent of license fees and 75 percent of new privilege tax revenues with 30 percent of beer tax per barrel and 10 percent of taxes on manufacturers and importers distributed to cities and counties by population. The administrator cited the figures.
