The Myrtle Point Retail Trade Committee announces Saturday opening of Christmas shopping with Santa visits at 11 am 12 noon and 2 and 4 pm Santa also appears Saturday Dec 8 and Saturday Dec 16 at the Niland Theatre for a free children’s movie Lions Club sponsors a free event Local merchants start handing out lucky tickets this Saturday one per $1 purchase for a Dec 16 merchandise give away at the Miland Theatre Prizes include a 10 speed bicycle shotgun TV set and stereo with other gifts from chamber members and local businesses Myrtle Point Herald displays prizes awaiting winners.

Pre registration on SWOCC campus for winter term
