Tests Set December 2 For Oregon Seniors

The CEEB tests are to be taken by some high school seniors on December 2 at MPHS. These exams are required for entrance into most Oregon colleges and universities. Students should arrive about 30 minutes early with an admission ticket and two sharpened No 2 pencils. A good night’s sleep and breakfast are recommended.

Child Injured In Mishap Near Hospital

Danny D. wmth age 6 was taken to Mast Hospital after a vehicle pedestrian collision in front of the hospital on Ash Street Wednesday around 6 30 p m. Young Smith crossed Ash Street and was struck by a car driven by Robert Allen Adams 19 of Coquille. No citation issued as child was not in the crosswalk. The youth received treatment for minor facial bruises and cuts.

Graveside services for Gary Lee Parrish will be held today at Myrtle Point Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Gerald Nelson. Born July 15, 1947, he died at age 20 in Secret Heart Hospital in Eugene. A Myrtle Point resident and 1965 Myrtle Point High School graduate, he was a member of the band and Futures Farmers of America.
