Seedlings grown at Camp Sitkum nursery will produce marketable timber in 60 to 100 years, with an estimated value near 9.48 million if survival reaches ten percent. Hiland Theatre installed new high intensity projector lights last weekend. Austin Dodge, the manager, says the system delivers three times the brightness of the old lamps and sharp, three dimensional images especially with Technicolor films. The update, plus air conditioning and a high fidelity sound system, makes Hiland Theatre among the state's modern venues.
