Leonard Martley and Miss Mary S Hayes wed at the Hayes home in Ruel with about fifty relatives present.

California Man Killed in Saturday Car Crash
Joseph Rohiger of Paynes Creek California was killed when the car he rode in plunged down a seven foot embankment on the Dora Sil Kum road near the Coquille Canoe Club around 8 30 Saturday evening. Joseph Schnur and two sons escaped injury. one boy and Robert received minor concussions. Rohiger was visiting the Schnurs and planned to move in with them after arriving in the United States in 1922 from Australia. The Schroeder Funeral Home handles arrangements. burial awaits word from Rohiger’s Paynes Creek friends as he had no known relatives.
