Fifty Two Golfers Compete In Weekend Tourney Here

Fifty two golfers joined the first annual amateur event at the Coquille Valley Golf and Country Club over a two day weekend. Prizes totaling over 925 dollars included golf gear from woods and irons to golf carts bags and 18 dozen Maxmil Dunlop balls. Gary Morris of Coquille captured low gross with 140 and won irons while Don Aasen finished 146 for second low gross. Don Calvert took low net with 123. Continued on page four.
