Coos County Federation of Womens clubs meets Friday May 20 at Woodmen's hall Marshfield with Marshfield Civic club hosting. Event includes junior and senior groups with special junior program morning and a noon no host lunch table. Mrs Albert H Powers leads juniors with general federation ties. Meeting postponed from October 2 due to county fire situation.
The Harvey A Smith Barber Shop at Fifth and Maple was sold last week to R. M. Johnson who arrived from Bénd about ten days ago. The Johnsons live at the auto camp with their son Charles a high school freshman and daughter Bessie in grade school.
