The Powers City library will be named The Hazel Lewis Library in honor of Hazel Lewis a longtime librarian and Herald Powers correspondent. The city council voted Monday to name the library for Mrs Lewis during her lifetime as completion of the Powers city center building nears this month funded by city and federal matching funds.
