A Wednesday arrest resulted in a fine of 100 dollars for alleged theft related offenses.
Miss Audrey Dasenpot daughter of Mr and Mrs A R Y Pevenpore Twin Oak and Holt Fortuna California united in marriage with Leonard Robi sum. Attendants were family friends at a dessert luncheon hosted by Aunt Mrs R E Perry. The couple planned a San Francisco honeymoon and future home in Fortuna. The bride, a 1933 Ayrtle Point High School graduate, has many local friends.
The Wednesday Night club met Wednesday evening at Mr and Mrs Chris Mollers home for a delightful card game. Tart refreshments were served and the hosts noted the presence of several couples including Mr and Mrs E Sempert and Mr and Mrs Lunds.
Coos County Farm Debt Adjustment committees help debtors and creditors reach friendly settlements. Since late 1984 they assisted in over 100 percent of cases, reducing debts from over 46 million to under 34 million and aiding extensions or refinancings through agencies like the Farm Credit or Land Banks. The Riverton school district awarded a $25 monthly contract for transporting pupils from Coaledo and Leneve to J M Hanson. Paul Bird will transport Haynes Inn et children to highways for $40 and Gorst and King carry students from Empire Charleston and nearby areas. Lee Brvor won $128 monthly haul from McKinley and Lee with part funded by Union at Myrtle Point. Bear Creek run awarded to L L Cornwall at $40 monthly. All bids south of Bandane rejected. Demarest Collins Chaney contracts accepted with reservations. Detlefsen resolution to retain Smith-H department in Coquille passed.
Hermann has been employed by a large creamery concern for eight years and was transferred from Portland to Modesto lset August.
The Jack and Jil cafe is being remodeled this month with new light cream wall tinting in the kitchen and dining room. Floors will be refinished and new floor coverings installed by the middle partition. The interior has undergone a full checkup to prepare for summer business.
Alder Crest district in South Catching Creek voted to suspend its grade school and transport pupils to Myrtle Point. During the year nine districts send pupils to larger centers including Pleasant Point Locust Grove to Myrtle Point Bear Creek Laurel Lake Two Mile to Bandon and Leneve to River ton Beach View to North Bend Shilon to Pleasant Ht Dora and Riverside to Fairfield.
