The Interchurch Fellowship meet at First Presbyterian in Myrtle Point drew a large audience. dinner served to over a hundred. Plans for a two week Daily Vacation Bible School June 1 to 12 were outlined by superintendent Mrs. Theodore Reith. Milton Schroeder reported $115 on hand for the project and a special offering was taken for Steven Goddard. Mrs. John Genso spoke on Korea, its history, and Christianity. Next gathering is at the Christian Church on the second Monday in June.

Davenport Cows Earn Ton of Gold Certificates
In Columbus Ohio on May 4 two registered Jersey cows owned by W R Davenport Myrtle Point Oregon received Ton of Gold Certificates from the American Jersey Cattle Club for producing over a ton of butterfat in four years. The cows Flossy Eagle Boy Queen and Peer Lnd Noble Flossy produced 36 903 pounds milk 2 190 pounds butterfat and 41 164 pounds milk 2 118 pounds butterfat respectively. The Ton of Gold award started in 1942 and has been won by over 2 800 Jerseys.
