ER Beton Stout Lee led the meeting. Visitors included L S Martin who conferred with Br about the Junior troop here.
The Baking Contest at the Booth Winans Club in the Mirtle Hotel Saturday named winners in two divisions. In high school, first prize went to Alice Rackleff for a silver necklace with a pink medallion. second to Maguerite Sunstrap for a silk scarf. Junior high saw Helen Lund take first with a blue enameled necklace and Thelma Perry a silk scarf. Cakes baked included spice and angel cake with prizes awarded. the Herald will print the prize recipes.
