Farmhouse Burns Near Job Hayes Place Destroyed
Monday morning a large white farmhouse on the Job Hayes place burned completely. The fire started from a defective flue and gained headway before discovery. Neighbors saved upstairs clothing but furnishings were largely lost. Mrs Hayes had insurance but no coverage on furnishings. The family moved to a garage while awaiting rebuilding.
