GP to Start Half Crew at Bone Mountain Op
About half the regular operations will resume at Bone Mountain with a 20 man crew returning to work as conditions improve. The operation has been idle since mid November, with plans to return to full capacity later in the spring if markets recover. The 36 man crew to restart Monday includes truckers and weed workers.

Easter Corsages For Crippled Children Benefit
Easter Corsages and Easter fillies will be sold this Saturday on Myrtle Point business streets. Mrs J M Marge Myers chairs with Mrs H Rackleff co chairwoman and several girls assisting. Receipts go to crippled children with proceeds and public support appreciated. Corsages are made by the Past Noble Grand club. The Easter Fillies are provided by the Easter Seal society and made by the crippled children. The girls will seek shoppers from 10 am onward.

Reverend Glenn Hutton to retire after 50 years of preaching
Reverend Glenn Hutton, longtime North West pastor, including First Christian in Myrtle Point, will retire July 1 after 50 years in ministry. He led building programs and evangelistic work, suffered a heart attack three years ago, and plans retirement sites in Dallas Oregon or Spokane with possible Alaska summer visit. He will speak Easter Sunday at 1 PM on What Is Resurrection.
