County nurse I4la Elrod and nutrition specialist Lucy A Care visited Floyd Summers at Myrtle Point to train sixth graders in health club methods. Dr W F Gregson examined children as growth and health contests build toward a state fair. Countywide clubs form in Coquille Bandon and other towns with songs by Norway and Millington groups. A talk on child welfare by Mrs Minette Twat is planned at Coquille City Hall with local organization representation invited.

Clifton Parrish son of Mr and Mrs R M Parrish of Myrtle Point left Wednesday to re enter Shriners hospital in Portland for a two months stay with his parents He is fourteen and suffered a severe accident to his right leg from a mowing machine at age two His October treatment showed improvement and his January return home pleased his mother Mrs Parrish who said he was on the road to full recovery
Legion Radio notes Doctor Rockwell a quack comedian will host an infamously pompous program about Portland Oregon and the 1982 Nations American Legion convention. The show airs on KEX Portlam 1030 to 1100 pm Tuesday March 29.
