Grange Hall Dedicated At Idige Sunday

The Juvenile Grange hall at Idige was dedicated June 26 with Howes as dedicating officer and senior Grange officers present. Highlights include the dedication of a new angellar by Herman and Johnny Koch and a program of songs recitations and a zither solo by Mrs Herman Koch followed by cake and ice cream for members and guests.

Horse Race On Each Day Of July Fourth Celebration

Myrtle Point Saddle Club announces a % horse race for Sunday July 3 and Monday July 4 at the fairgrounds. $56 in cash will be awarded daily to winners. Four horses have entered with room for more. Don Ferguson joins as announcer and Wayne Wateen is named arenas director with experienced timers and clerks.
