Turn in our guns is not the answer
In a letter from Myrtle Point Oregon dated June 16 1968 Gus W Metzgus argues the gun control movement ignores the constitutional right to bear arms and that responsibility lies in how guns are used not in turning them in. He cites Lincoln Kennedy and fears of war and nuclear threats to defend American values and fear the need for responsible gun use over regulation.
