In Coos County Oregon the county court has confirmed the undersigned as joint executrices of the estate of J L Knight deceased by order of the court and they have duly qualified to act. Creditors of the estate are hereby notified to present claims with proper evidence within the legally defined period.

Legal voters in Union High School District No 2 Coos County Oregon are informed the annual school meeting will be held at the high school on June 23 1941 at 2 PM. One five year director will be elected and other business typical of such meetings will be conducted. Votes are counted one hour after the start. any eligible voter may vote before the count begins. The Pollyanna club met at Mrs. Ivan Laird residence in Sitkum for an all day gathering with a business session and multiple games. A wedding shower for Mrs Ted Miller was postponed due to her absence. Members listed include Mrs Mac McCarthy Mrs Nellie Brown Mrs Rex Brown and many others. Visitors from Las Angeles Portland Fairview and Gardiner joined relatives and hosts for the event.
The annual school meeting held Monday elected Ernest Krewson as director and re-elected Mrs. W A Nickason as clerk for the 23rd year. The budget was discussed and approved.
The H. E. C. club of the Bridge grange met at the Grange hall for sewing and hall cleanup. A potluck dinner followed with attendees including Mrs Vern Magill Mrs Marian Magill Mrs Lawrence Knight Alice Wis Dwight Culver Mary Lou and others. Dwight Culver recently returned from Myrtle Point after an operation.
