Clayton Mast was installed as president of the Myrtle Point Lions club at a banquet at the Myrtle Hotel. Frank Meldrum became secretary, with George Linn as first vice president and Dick Johnson as second vice president. The Myrtle Point Union Club voted to sponsor Red Cross swimming classes at Sugar Loaf Pool during the first two weeks of August.
