Two School Elections Planned for Myrtle Point Districts
Two school elections are scheduled in Myrtle Point. District No 41 will vote at the junior high Monday June 18 at 7 80. E J Schnelder term ends this year and a three year director will be chosen. Union High District No 2 votes Monday June 25 at 2 PM in the high school building. Dr O H Clarke’s term expires and a five year director will be elected. Clarke led his petition for election.

Buick sedan top demolished in highway wreck near Myrtle Point
A Buick driven by H J Watson of Marshfield with three men as passengers left the Arago grade west of Myrtle Point Tuesday around seven. The top was torn off and Watson sustained severe injuries to his right hand and scratches on neck and face. Ed Anderson of Pearce garage drove the car into Myrtle Point and later Watson took it to Marshfield after wounds were dressed. The men, employed in a logging crew on Halls Creek, had overnighted in Myrtle Point and were en route to work. Dr H Clarke assisted in surgeries at Richmond hospital in Coquille recently.
