Bridge School eighth grade exercises and graduation

Eighth grade exercises at Bridge School were held May 29 at 1 30 PM with Yvonne Waterman as valedictorian and Laura Meggine and Leslie Gill as co salutatorians. Two Ore Servicemen Promoted in Vietnam Service

Marine Lance Corporal Donald G. Edlund 20 of Myrtle Point Ore and Private First Class Charles Perry of Broadbent Ore received promotions while serving with Marine units in Vietnam. Edlund, son of Mr and Mrs Alton A Edlund of Myrtle Point, belongs to the Second Battalion 27th Marine Regiment First Marine Division. Perry serves with the Third Battalion Ninth Marine Regiment in the northern provinces, aiding civic projects and self help programs.
