Funeral Honors DeWitt Aubin Held By Masons
In Powers on Saturday at 2 pm a Masonic funeral for DeWitt Aubin who was killed Wednesday. Floyd Summers led the service with organ preludes by Mrs H L Bagley. Aubin born Roseburg Sept 1 1904 resided in Powers since 1915 and held multiple Lodge positions. Burial at Ten Mile cemetery. Local stores closed for the funeral.

Arago Extension unit held a meeting at Mrs Alice Pukett residence to plan a potluck sale at the Arago store on June 7. Proceeds will fund the 4-H club dormitory to be built at the Coos County fair summer. The group noted growing membership and expanded Extension program participation.
