Powers Man Killed at Coos Bay Loading Pond
George Aubin was killed Wednesday morning at the Coos Bay loading pond in Powers where he worked as head loader. He lived in Powers since boyhood and was active in civic affairs as a Past Master in the Masonic order, a Shriner, Past president of the Lions Club, and a member of the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife and six month old son Ricky, plus several brothers and sisters in the Powers area. Funeral arrangements were not known at press time.
