Budget Committee Refuses Raise For County Employees
The budget committee denies raises for county workers and outlines funding for projects including forestry crew cruises, weed control, and juvenile work. It approves a nine month saw school superintendent, rejects a new home demonstration agent, and maintains a $20,000 emergency fund. Road, health, and public notice budgets are detailed with postwar reserves and anticipated revenues. Public hearing set for June 30.
