Reverend Calvin Hartnell, longtime pastor of the Myrtle Point Seventh day Adventist Church since 1955, preached his last sermon on June 21 and will lead an Adventist district around Woodland Washington. Everett Collier was ordained deacon, and the district held a farewell party at Woohink Lake with a $50 gift. Mr Hartnell led growth including a new church building and evangelistic outreach. he will be replaced by Mr Lockwood of Washington, D.C.
