L Logging Co of Dora provided a truck to haul a donated white cedar log from L W Lund of Gayford backed by Lee Lund. The cedar will become 5x16 inch timbers for a wall restoration, solving a major problem in the project.

December 1967 Oregon traffic deaths show decline
Oregon reports 62 people killed in December 1967 traffic crashes, total for the year 663, down from 678 in 1966. Eight fatalities occurred during the Christmas holiday period, with nine deaths in head on crashes and nine pedestrian fatalities. Ages ranged from under 25 to over 60, with 15 victims 25 or younger and 23 between 26 and 50. One victim had no age recorded.
