Annual alien address report program under way in Oregon
Albert Conversano Jr. of the INS says the yearly alien address report is underway with about 26 000 aliens filing last year in Oregon. Participation is required by law and noncompliance may have serious consequences. Forms are available at post offices and INS offices, and cards can be mailed or handed to staff. Trained personnel will assist in all INS offices with reporting questions.

The 1974 gross agricultural income in Coos County reached 915 161 000 down slightly from 1973 as cattle prices fell amid grain shortages and beef surplus. Dairy remains the top income source with 7 000 000 from dairy products down 14 percent from 1973 while livestock and forest products also contribute. Registration Set for SWOCC January Term Classes
SWOCC will hold term class registration on January 6 on campus in Lower Prosper Hall with an alphabetical time schedule mailed to district residents. Follow up registration runs January 1 to 10 at Tioga Hall door 4 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:50 to 6:30 p.m. through Jan 9 and 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Friday Jan 10. Tuition and fees are due at registration. Financial aid help is in Shirley Gitchall’s office, Room 10, Deliwood Hall.

Juvenile committee to meet with chamber in Myrtle Point
The Myrtle Point Chamber of Commerce and Coos County Juvenile Advisory Committee meet January 6 at 12 noon at Loy's Myrtle Point Restaurant. Commissioner Woody Robison will attend to discuss establishing a juvenile shelter care facility at the former Pioneer House Inn Myrtle Point with a tour to follow. Final site decision rests with the county commissioners.
