Coquille Dairy Meeting On Artificial Insemination Program
A meeting of Coos County dairy men will be held at Coquille city hall on Wednesday February 27. Meldon Carl of Arago chairs the organizing committee which aims to affiliate Coos County with the Oregon Dairy Breeders Association. By laws will be considered, and members may join. Roger Morse and William J Linfoot will attend to aid state organization.

Capt. Elizabeth Dement daughter of Mrs. P W Laird and Lester T Dement returns to Myrtle Point on terminal leave from the Army Nurse Corps. She served in France Germany and Austria with the 106th Evacuation Hospital attached to the 3rd Army and became chief nurse of the 112th Evacuation Hospital in southern Bavaria. She wears four campaign stars and received the Bronze Star for meritorious service during the Battle of Normandy and in northern France.
