Bobcats Win Sub-District Crown In Thriller

Myrtle Point Bobcats beat Coquille 47 45 at Coquille to clinch first in the sub district and earn a district tournament berth. Harold Cserger and Bobby Mullins sparked a late comeback as Mullins hit a clutch final shot after a 45 45 deadlock. Phillips led Coquille with 18 while Schnick added 17, with Myrtle Point's balanced scoring supporting the title run. Myrtle Point JV also defeated Coquille 36 30 and the Frosh posted a 14 point opener win.

OSC Silver Wings to Perform at Half Here

Oregon State College Air Force ROTC drill team will perform an exhibition at halftime of the Bobcat Red Devil basketball game at Myrtle Crest gym this Friday evening.
