Wellman Family Returns From Seattle After Grandchild’s Death

Mr and Mrs Otho Wellman of Arago accompanied by a relative returned yesterday from Seattle where they were summoned by the death of their grandchild Billy James Lynch aged four. The boy fell ill suddenly last Saturday while playing and died two days later from brain meningitis after being unconscious since then.

Doctor to consult bone specialist for knee fracture

Dr Ron Mast will take Mrs Tucker who suffered a compound fracture of the left knee at the local football game on the fourth of last November to Portland this weekend for a bone specialist consultation. The patient does not appear to be improving satisfactorily.
