Grant approved for jail study in Coos County
Coos County Sheriff Tony Zarbeano and a three person delegation from the Coquille Chamber urged Myrtle Point Chamber of Commerce to recommend three people for a county wide jail committee. The group noted a $25 000 grant from the Law Enforcement Assistance Agency for site development and planning with county funds to follow.
