L. C. Bargelt, longtime Coos Bay editor and printer, died Thursday. Born November 12, 1868 in Uniontown Iowa, he came to Coos county in 1900 aboard the Alliance. He worked for the Daily Coast Mall, ran the Gazoot Printery, and co published the Myrtle Point Enterprise before returning to Coos Bay. Surviving are two children Harold and Paul, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
