Myrtle Crest Cubs wrestle to strong showing at district tournament

Seventh graders Marshall Lewis 105 Tom Thurman 120 and Don Allen 130 were district champions in their weight classes for Myrtle Crest. Seventh graders Tom McCullough 80 Jack Green 125 and Jerry Knight 65 placed second. Henry Mattus 115 placed third. Eighth graders John Knight 125 won his division with Gary Rucker 130 taking third and John Gilpatrick 115 fourth.
