Myrtle Point DAR Good Citizen winner named
Jill Coffman a senior at Myrtle Point High School is named the local DAR Good Citizen winner after a school competition among six finalists. She will vie for county honors against reps from Bandon Coquille Powers Marshfield and North Bend in February. Jill edits the Bobcat yearbook plans to study communications in college. The previous winner was Jill’s sister Jodi in 1971. United Way campaign raises 3138.40, short of the goal by about 400, thanks to donors and volunteers led by Lillian Mast.
